Title:
Build on Ubuntu failed due to symbols for s390x
Status in opencc package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Since it was requested for the proposed MIR inclusion (bug #1909665),
the file debian/libopencc1.1.symbols is included in opencc
1.1.1+git20200624+ds2-4. While all the architectures built
successfully on Debian, the s390x build failed on Ubuntu using the
very same source sync'ed from Debian.
So an Ubuntu specific modification of the symbols file is needed; this
command should do it:
pkgkde-symbolshelper batchpatch -v 1.1.1+git20200624+ds2 \
> buildlog_ubuntu-hirsute-s390x.opencc_1.1.1+git20200624+ds2-4_BUILDING.txt
