Thanks for the report and making Ubuntu better! > The auto-filter pull-down menu becomes inaccessible the very moment I move the mouse down to access the filter menu.
Ok I understand you can't access the auto filter menu once you've changed to fractional scaling. Was the auto filter menu created when fractional scaling was in effect? So you can create the auto filter menu but not access it? Can you try creating auto filter menus both with and without fractional scaling? See if there's something like you can only access auto filter menus with the same scale factor it was created with. I tried to reproduce this but didn't quite get there. I used the same 7.0.3-0ubuntu0.20.10.1 libreoffice version on groovy. At 100% scaling for my 4k monitor (I have a second monitor connected that is not 4k), I created an auto filter cell and the dropdown worked fine. Then I changed my 4k monitor to 125% scaling and saw that it took 1-2s after pressing the dropdown to access the auto filter menu before it showed up.. but it did show up. I couldn't reproduce this either.. I tested various scale factors and didn't find any other bad behavior. Also can you please confirm the resolution and refresh rate that is specified in the gnome settings (Settings -> Displays). Is there only one monitor attached that is 4k? If not, what's the display setup? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1913333 Title: Calc auto-filter menu inaccessible with fractional scaling enabled Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: PROBLEM The auto-filter pull-down menu becomes inaccessible the very moment I move the mouse down to access the filter menu. This happens most of the time, but not always, when fractional scaling is not 100% on my 4K monitor. The menu remains inaccessible for all other scaling factors but 100%. FREQUENCY This happens quite often, but not always, and makes working in CALC with fractional scaling on impossible. Sometimes changing fractional scaling back to 100% and then say to 150% fixes the issue. But most of the time the only way out is to switch the screen to 100%.
