Title:
gedit file name saves file with same name always

Status in gedit package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  hi

i open gedit, write something, save, a dialog box appears with
'untitled document 1' as suggested filename. i save by pressing enter.

i repeat, and dialog box again says 'untitled document 1' in place of
looking into the save folder, counting files with similar names and
putting the next number 2 in place of 1.

so i believe this is systemically built so in gnome for all data
saving files and it is very normal. any suggestions?

  thanks!
