Hmm.. That button shows up on Fedora, and the mentioning of the button
isn't important enough to introduce an Ubuntu only variant.
Closing after all.

Title:
printing-setup: Unlock button no longer present
Status in Gnome Documentation:
Unknown
Status in gnome-user-docs package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
On the following webpage:
https://help.ubuntu.com/stable/ubuntu-help/printing-setup.html.en
There are the following instructions:{
If your printer was not set up automatically, you can add it in the
printer settings:
Open the Activities overview and start typing Printers.
Click Printers.
Press Unlock in the top right corner and type in your password
when prompted.
Press the Add… button.
In the pop-up window, select your new printer and press Add.
If your printer is not discovered automatically, but you know its network
address, enter it into the text field at the bottom of the dialog and then
press Add
In the pop-up window, select your new printer and press Add.
}
However, there is no "Unlock" button to press, as the instructions
indicate.
Secondly, after Adding the Printer (despite not using any Unlock button) I
have attempted to print my document, but the printer will not print the
document. It simply says "processing" and sits there indefinitely.
