Title: gnome-shell onscreen keyboard types wrong characters Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Actions to reproduce: 1. activate onscreen keyboard in Universal Access 2. type ':' -> returns ';' 3. type '|' -> returns '\' Several other special characters are affected also. This happens on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (bionic) with English en-US locale and keyboard layout.
