After upgrading to 20.04 my live tex distribution could not find style
files and fonts so I used apt-get purge as a prelude to reinstalling.
The purge failed with system errors: package tex-common 6.13 failed to
install/upgrade: installed tex-common package post-installation script
subprocess returned error exit status 1
