Bug description:
In the last rebuild of metacity, (metacity (1:2.34.1-1ubuntu4)
oneiric on Sept. 16th ), this patch isn't being applied, it's in the
patches folder but not listed in series file.
This causes the prior poor behaviour in unity-2d as noted in bug
688816
This was either done intentionally without comment in the changelog or
unintentionally, in any event it's been almost 3 months, about time to
address this one way or the other
