It sounds like a known issue where the chromium snap is being refreshed
in the background while it is running. I highly recommend enabling app
refresh awareness if it isn't already:
snap set core experimental.refresh-app-awareness=true
(see https://forum.snapcraft.io/t/wip-refresh-app-awareness/10736 for
details). Please let us know whether the problem happens again after
this.

Bug description:
It is found on snap install only.
When chromium running for a while, click a new tab, and open a chinese web
page.
It will display rectangles instead of chinese characters, all web pages are
unable to correctly display chinese characters before restart.
