I can't undestand why this bug still unatended. Certificates and signing is a common practice for today. This bug affects any application who searchs for certificates on operating system storage.
Install the same certificate many times in multiple applications increase probabilities for vulnerabilities impacts and private key leaks. It impacts in user experience too, and make hard to handle digital identities in Ubuntu for personal and SOHO users.
