Public bug reported:

Version info:
  Description: Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS
  Release: 20.04

Bug is easily reproducible using Chromium (Google Chrome, Electron,
etc).

When taking a screenshot of an open select field in google chrome using
either Shift-PrintScreen or sleep 3; gnome-screenshot -a, the whole
gnome desktop freezes.

May be related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-
screenshot/+bug/1911793 as it is still possible to swap apps using
keyboard, and Alt-f2, then 'r' is the easiest way to restore mouse
usability.

Bug was found in gnome-screenshot 3.36.0, and chrome version causing the
bug is 94.0.4606.54 (Official Build) (64-bit). Both of these are the
most recent releases at time of reporting.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Use Shift+PrtScrn shortcut to take a screenshot of an area - Works
(2) Open any standard Select dropdown field, such as at
https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_select
(3) Use Shift+PrtScrn shortcut to take a screenshot of an area with the
dropdown still showing. - Fails
