Compare functions in these pictures in the attachment:
good.png (Ubuntu 11.10)
bad.png (Ubuntu 12.04 beta)
The difference is big (and sad): the graph of the function is not smooth now.
This is the test file (in the attachment):

Maybe it is a problem of poppler, although it is not important which software
is "guilty". But it is not a good news a problematic evince version in the new
LTS.
