Please close this bug report. It’s solved. Looks like the problem itself was caused by me trying to:
1) import 2fa encrypted json vault file 2) that was on 'encrypted file container' (virtual encrypted disk within a file). Don’t know why but application (or system) wasn’t able to import it from there.
