I can't seem to reproduce any such bug in jammy. Please attach a
screenshot or a video (Shift+Ctrl+Alt+R) to show what you mean.

User profile picture color not selected until you unlock and click on

Bug description:
There is no color on a picture-less user profile picture unless you go
to Users, click unlock, click the icon, and select the default with
the first character of your username. If the color is unintentional
altogether, this is still a bug, just in reverse.
