Title:
Gnome Software recognizes from a newer package of Discord that it is
already installed. However, it shows the Remove button, when it should
show an "Update" button since the version number is higher than the
  one installed

Status in gnome-software package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
This issue occurs whenever one downloads a .deb file that is an update
  for a currently installed package.
