Title:
  libjpeg.pc contains invalid value for libdir

Status in libjpeg-turbo package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
  On ubuntu 19.10, the pkg-config file for libjpeg

  /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/pkgconfig/libjpeg.pc

  contains the following line :-

  libdir=/build/libjpeg-turbo-ff4xqQ/libjpeg-
  turbo-2.0.3/obj-x86_64-linux-gnu/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu

  This appears to be a relic of some build process; the directory does
  not exist on my machine.

  I think this line should read

  libdir=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu
