Totem crashes when trying to open an mkv file

Bug description:
When opening an mkv file by doubble clicking the file Totem opens wit han
error
'The Specified movie could not be found'. I click OK and Totem crashes and I
can't restart the program again.
New install of Jammy beta 2204.
