Title:
No GEAR button to choose between Waywand or X11 on 22.04
Status in gdm3 package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
So I don't have the cog button where you can choose which one to use. Was
able to make it show once after 1000 tries to logout and login, switched to
Wayland and after restart, it went to X11 and the button is gone forever it
looks like.
I have AMD processor with AMD integrated card and a Nvidia card.
By default Ubuntu installed the NVIDIA drivers and made the card default.
And I want to use Wayland, it worked without any problems the one time I was
able to choose it, I miss the trackpad gestures on X11.
You should fix ASAP!
And there should be an easier way to change to integrated card, right
now I can,t. In additional drivers app all I see is about Nvidia card
and it's drivers! What if I want to use the integrated one? It's
ridiculous.
My system is clean install, fully up to date!
