File-save prompt is extremely buggy, potentially unusable

Bug description:
File-save prompt/window keeps growing after every save and won't
resize once fullscreen until I change the scaling factor and change it
back so it becomes small. Sometimes it won't let me save or exit the
prompt at all. Once I traverse through folders within the prompt it
requires me to edit the filename to enable the "Save" button. Not an
issue in 21.10, only on 22.04.
