I am having a similar problem, but with all types of attachments. If I go into web mail and download the attachments they are complete. If I attempt to download them with Thunderbird, the file size is smaller and the file is incomplete. I observed this with text files and it was clear that the last part of the file was simply being truncated. In the most recent example, the resulting file was 192 bytes short.
This has happened with text files, PDF files and ZIP files so far. It is clearly a bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to thunderbird in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/891147 Title: pdf attachments truncate by about 2k and resulting in pdf reader rejecting it Status in “thunderbird” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: When I access the email pdf attachments through web-gmail its fine.
