Ubuntu 22.04 desktop shortcut created from /usr/share/applications
cannot be executed!

right-click does not show allow launching in the drop down menu!

so it cannot be launched and show the message:

Untrusted Desktop File

This .desktop is not trusted. It can not be launched.
To enable launching, right-click then:

Enable "Allow Launching"

but guess what there is no "Allow Launching" in the drop down menu.

It is working in Ubuntu 20.04 and the "Allow Launching" is available.

Making the shortcut executable and making desktop owns by user and not
root does not help.

1) release: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Jammy 5.15.0-37-generic
2) package: not relevant.
3) what you expect:
execution of the .desktop shortcut

4) what happened instead:

message:

Untrusted Desktop File

This .desktop is not trusted. It can not be launched.
To enable launching, right-click then:

Enable "Allow Launching"
