Input does not work for half a second while switching keyboard
language

Bug description:
After switching keyboard language by pressing Meta+Space, keyboard
input stops to work for a time interval like 0.5 sec.
That is when I press Meta+Space and directly after then type some
letters, the input does not work like half of a second.
