Has this been fixed in the latest ubuntu 22.04 lts?

If it has been fixed I cant find confirmation of it, the search for
answers has been frustrating.

Thanks to rickywales who mentioned "nemo" in his post on 2018-06-24,
which I've installed and seem to have the search sort function I
deserve, NAY, we all deserve!

I try to resist posting anything on these sort of sites, so apologies
for any issues I cause by doing so.

I mainly wanted to thank rickywales.

The version of nautilus/Files included with Ubuntu 17.04 no longer

  This no longer works.

It represents a significant regression in the search feature.
