Hello,

It seems that actually ~/.profile and ~/.bashrc where overwritten in a
recent update, with system wide instructions.

I believe these files should not be held by the system rather than by
the user.

  It seems that ~/.profile is not sourced anymore when gnome-terminal is 
launched for the first time as it should be the case in the POSIX standard :
