This issue was closed upstream on 2010/01/24 as "RESOLVED WONTFIX"
and refers to a very old version of gedit. After a review of
outstanding '100 Papercuts' issues I'm closing this as it is no
longer useful to leave this issue open.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gedit

  When in fullscreen mode, the top line of the editor has a shadow on
  top of it making it difficult to read.

  Steps to reproduce.
  1. Open Gedit
  2. Press F11 to go to fullscreen mode.

  Actual result:
  There is a shadow on the top line of text.

  Expected result:
  All text should be unobscured.

  Reproducibility:
  Always
