Public bug reported:

When viewing images in fullscreen, software randomly switches to drawing image
in a small subsection of the screen (see img in attachment).
Once software is in this new state it does not revert to updating the full
screen. Quitting and re-entering fullscreen temporarily solves the issue.

I have observed the issue both in
- eog
- geeky

I have not seen this issue in any other fullscreen software I use.

I am running
- Ubuntu 22.04.1
- Linux 5.15.0-48-generic
- X.Org X Server 1.21.1.3

The Laptop has the following GPU:
- Intel Skylake GT2 [HD Graphics 520] -- (Mesa 22.0.5)
- NVIDIA GM108GLM [Quadro K620M / Quadro M500M] -- (Driver Version: 515.65.01)

(It is running in NVIDIA on-demand PRIME profile)
