Public bug reported:
.mp3 and .mkv files shown on desktop and in the file explorer, have the
default icon (of their respective file type), instead of a thumbnail, as
in previous Ubuntu versions (at least 16.04 and before): For mp3 files
the embedded image (e.g. album cover), and for mkv files a snapshot of
the video. If this is intentional behavior, it would be nice if you
could provide a toggle switch or something, giving user the option to
view each file's thumbnail (as in 16.04 for example), or keep seeing the
default icon.
