Title:
  No "session-change" icon after logout visible

Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  I can not see the icon to change the session (eg from ubuntu to gnome) when i 
logout.
  When i select a different user and then select my user again, the icon is 
visible.

  Steps to reproduce:
  1) login (currently i use the gnome-shell)
  2) logout
  3) see that there is no icon to change the session

  No the steps to be able to change the session
  4) select a different user
  5) select your user again
  6) now the icon is visible
