Title: No undo for deleting a contact from address book Status in Mozilla Thunderbird: Confirmed Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Binary package hint: thunderbird Right-clicking on the column names in the address book includes a "Delete" option in the menu. Unfortunately, this does not "delete" the highlighted column, but rather, the highlighted contact. Ouch. Making matters worse, there is no undo. Probably the simple fix would be to have right-click on the column headings in the address book display a different menu, or no menu at all. vnix$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 8.10 Release: 8.10 vnix$ apt-cache policy thunderbird thunderbird: Installed: 2.0.0.18+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.10.1 Candidate: 2.0.0.18+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.10.1 Version table: *** 2.0.0.18+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.10.1 0 500 http://fi.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid-updates/main Packages 500 http://security.ubuntu.com intrepid-security/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 2.0.0.17+nobinonly-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://fi.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/main Packages To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/thunderbird/+bug/306438/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
