Ubuntu 10.04 (lucid) reached end-of-life on May 9, 2013.
This has sat incomplete for almost nine years without a response
from the reporter. Bug report did not expire due to bug watches.
The upstream report confirms fixed in an earlier Ubuntu release
so as there was no response to comment #4 will close now.

mouse pointer jumping when left-button clicked

Bug description:
I set up a Xdmx configuration to use my laptop as a secondary screen to my
desktop pc.
Unfortunately the mouse pointer behaves like described in the title. Both
computers are running the same operating system.
