Title:
  package firefox 106.0.1+build1-0ubuntu0.22.04.1~mt1 failed to
  install/upgrade: new firefox package pre-installation script
  subprocess returned error exit status 1

Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  I was upgrading Ubuntu 22.04.01 to 22.10 because I was having some
  problems with the Fan and the system unable to sleep. The other major
  problem was updating the system because Firefox was in this extremely
  slow snap. So I removed it from snap and installed it via apt and it
  was functioning normally until the release upgrade.

  It kept asking me to WAIT or FORCE QUIT. After like 30 times being
  prompted I had to FORCE QUIT it.
