@ Gabriel Genois, where is the 'smooth effect' that you tell me to de-activate? Do you mean under Preferences-Playback-Crossfade? That's the only place that looks like what you are calling 'smooth effect' and I disabled it but still the problem is there. Thanks in advance

Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Solution : Desactivate the smooth transition ("Fondu" entre les piste (french)). The poblem is not repair, but now I can use rythmbox by desactivate the smooth transition. Binary package hint: rhythmbox - All was right before a general update. - Progress bar refuse to start after 3 song - No more sound - I can stop the "music" without crash (but.. it has nothing to stop...
