If this is related to the bug I had filed upstream (linked above), then this should be fixed in Nautilus 43.1 or later.

If I cut (CTRL-a CTRL-x) the searched text and paste it back (CTRL-f CTRL-v) the searching is successful, and the result appears immidietly. The situation is same e.g. in gnome-software, so I think this problem is globally exists in gnome.
