Hi All,
My HW: Amd Ryzen 5 2400, Radeon 550 graphic card, 16 GB G.Skyll Trident DDR2, 1
TB Samsung HDD
sda1: EFI
sda2: /
sda3: swap
sd4: /home
SW: Ubutu 20.04.1 LTS completely installed & configured for me
Riggt after a system update via Apt-get at the next boot the / partition
/dev/sda2 was checked for bad sectors. The result is the / is clean. But
no next step, the previous installed & configured X system is not able
to start. I am able switch to the next consoles & log in, the character
based Ubuntu is working but the X server does not work.
I tried to re-write the appropriate GRUB menu item with nouveau graphic
driver but that trick was not work.
My guess is that the during the APT-GET the the graphic driver was upgraded and
something went wrong.
I enclose dmesg and several kind of logs. Please give me a feedback at least on
what is the direction I should go. Thanks.
