I recently backported this patch
https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?h=libreoffice-7-4&id=2e9122f79b2573647a77bdfb2216934a5abda778
to the libreoffice-7-4 branch from trunk, so the ruler should have an
improved display from versions 7.5.0 and 7.4.4 on (the LO series for
Ubuntu Kinetic and Lunar, respectively).
