Public bug reported:
Opening any page and holding Ctrl+S on the firefox snap package begins
to spam-generate save dialogues. These do not stop being generated for
several seconds after Ctrl+S is released. These dialogues slow down the
system to the point that interacting with both them, and the system as a
whole, feels laggy. The compositor also attempts to assign them each
shadows, and as a result, on Mutter with Wayland, a they are surrounded
by a thick black halo (see attachment).
I'm running Ubuntu 22.04.1 on Gnome 42.5 with Wayland. Firefox is
version 107.0.1 although this bug has been present on every version of
Firefox I've used on this system.
