Upstream issue has been closed 'RESOLVED WONTFIX'.
Bug reporter no longer uses Ubuntu/Launchpad.
This isn't something that Ubuntu will ever add to
Firefox's functionality as now moving to a 'snap'
provided by Mozilla themselves.

Bug description:
It would be really useful, if, like in Google Chrome, for there to be
some kind of upload progress bar as well as a download progress bar in
Firefox. That is so that you would be able to tell the upload progress
of something you are uploading, such as a file.
