Appearance set to dark but menus are the default
Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Appearance is set to "dark" but sometimes background color for right-
click menu, clock and other apps like Hexchat change to "default as
shown in the screenshots.
If I chose another item in the gnome settings and open "Appearance"
again, it will also trigger this bug.
The only solution is to change the "Color" setting in Settings ->
Appearance and it will make it dark again.
