Title:
  Unable to connect to wired internet

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  After upgrading to 11.10, I am unable to connect to the internet using my 
wired broadband connection.
  It is showing the connecting icon, and after some time failing to connect.
  I checked with my windows, It is working well.
  My computer is Acer 4720Z.
  If this is not a major bug, at least tell me a process to fix my issue.
