Version 102.12.0 seems to have fixed the issue on my setup (Debian 11.7, Xfce, AMD Ryzen 4750u with integrated graphics in a Thinkpad T14 AMD Gen 1). The message list highlighting is just as responsive as the folder list now. It still uses quite a bit of CPU when moving the mouse over the list, however, it's snappy and responsive now - the lag I was experiencing before seems to be completely gone.

Just moving the mouse cursor over a message list results in 365% CPU for me. I had to set this in the config editor to fix it: gfx.webrender.force-disabled = TRUE Upstream bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1730423 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/thunderbird/+bug/1959747/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
