Debian had the same problem, https://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1050777 , but resolved it by adding a libgles2 depends. The solution dopesn't seem to be enough for Ubuntu though and the problem can be reproduced in a normal xorg session, for some reason libGL is being used instead of libGLES, the problem doesn't happen in Debian or Fedora though...
