Hi Peter, thanks for trying to submit a bug report via Apport. As it
seems it initially failed to target the correct package, can you try
'apport-collect 2037151'?

Is the issue reproducible if you completely disable hardware
acceleration, i.e. 'chromium --disable-gpu'? What if you revert to the
previous revision of Chromium with 'snap revert chromium' and try again
launching it normally?

Does Chromium report something suspicious in stderr?

Title:
Chromium glitches, Brave too, might be GPU

Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Hi there! I have a theory what this problem is, and i am going to post
  it in detail here https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-
  browser/+bug/2037093

This was not supposed to be a "new" bug report, I wanted to use Apport
and somehow attach my Apport output to an *existing* bug thread in
bugs.launchpad.net Is there a way to do that?

short version: i think its very similar to this:
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-
browser/+bug/2035360 also, Brave has already fixed the issue, i got a
snap update from them about 8 hours ago and YES it fixed it. know
anyone on their tech team who can tell you how they fixed it? ;-);-)

  cheers
