Gnome session crashes after resume from suspend

Bug description:
I upgraded to the Ubuntu 23.10 beta from 23.04.
After the upgrade, every time I suspend the laptop and resume from
suspend the gnome session crashes and I am returned to the login
screen.
I am using a Thinkpad T14 gen 2 AMD laptop.
