Since Firefox runs on wayland by default since Ubuntu 23.10, and
Thunderbird has supported wayland for a long time, the Thunderbird snap
should also default to wayland by default. Currently thunderbird runs
under Xwayland as can be seen by running xprop and clicking the
Thunderbird window.
