This is partially fixed in Ubuntu 23.10.01
After the launch terminal, OSK will not show automatically.
User will need to touch Terminal again, then OSK will show in order to input in 
Terminal.

OS: Ubuntu 23.10.01
Mode: Wayland
Gnome: gnome-42-2204

  swipe up from the bottom of the touch monitor won't bring the OSK

Bug description:
  OS: jammy update on 2022/03/28, Wayland mode, tablet or screen
  keyboard enable.

  Steps:

  1. touch gnome-terminal and see OSK
  2. hide OSK
  3. swipe up from the bottom of the touch monitor

  Expected:

  OSK re-appears

  Actually:

  OSK does not re-appear.

  Is this by a design change, or a new bug? On focal, can't reproduce
  this issue.
