Title:
  xdg-screensaver doesn't support xss-lock

Status in xdg-utils package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
It appears this was fixed in upstream "from freedesktop.org"
  https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=108865

However that patch did not fully work for me, as the '^xss-lock'
pattern doesn't find "/usr/bin/xss-lock" which is how "ps" actually
  lists the process

i'm attaching a patch which fixes the issue and is resilient to
  process paths
