Recently unearthed the power supply to my flatbed scanner after being
without it for a year. In the interim, I migrated to a newer computer
running Ubuntu 23.10 Mantic.
I have added myself to the saned and scanner groups. and have logged
out, and logged back in again, as well as unplugged and replugged the
scanner into a different USB port.
Installed simple-scan package, and went to scan a test page with my HP
ScanJet 3670 USB flatbed scanner.
lsusb shows the scanner, and I can hear the stepper motor move a little,
and light in bed goes on, but it times out waiting for data.
Any ideas?
