I am running 13.04 beta - and i have tested it now for one day. When shutting down the computer, the pricks in the splash shows up ONLY. All the other screen is black, with terminal-like text. The pricks are surrounded by squares and appears only when they are going "white", and then they stays there. ------------------- So: 1) Ubuntu Raring Ringtail (13.04 - Beta branch) 2) n/a 3) I was expecting it to show the whole splash screen on Shutdown stage with a purple background. 4) The Background was black, and only the pricks showed up when they was going "white".
