Title:
nautilus ignores hidden file size when calculating directory disk
occupancy
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Nautilus seems to ignore hidden file (files with a dot before the name) size
in "contents:" field inside "Basic" tab of directory properties.
You can simply test this by creating, for example, 1gb file inside a
directory and re-naming with a "." (dot) in front of its name. Then you can
view, in the directory properties, that disk occupancy ignore the hidden file
size just created.
This issue was also present in previous ubuntu releases.
