dash to shell crashes when resuming from sleep (opening lid and
logging back in)

Bug description:
Running dash to dock. When resuming from sleep, the dock shrinks to
just the ubuntu logo, clicking it opens but then crashes. Logging off
then back in resolves.
No LSB modules are available.
