Couldn't reproduce the behaviour under Ubuntu 11.10 with Gnome3,
Thunderbird 9.0 & Enigmail 1.3.4. Everything fine...

  Thunderbird & Enigmail doesn't work

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: thunderbird

  when i try to enter the passphrase in enigmail, the window flashes several 
times and then i get the error that I have entered a bad passphrase. 
  I am not able to enter my passphrase, because the window that aims to prompt 
me, is flickering

  I am using  Ubuntu 9.10, Release:       9.10: thunderbird / enigmail
